A calm, aspirational rental platform — Rightmove without the clutter.
The Challenge
Property search in the UK means cluttered portals fighting for ad clicks. Settle is the counter-argument: what if finding a flat felt like browsing a well-made magazine? The platform needed real product depth — filtering, detail pages, saved homes — without inheriting the visual noise of the incumbents.
The Solution
We built the search experience around calm: a soft off-white ground, Fraunces serif for prices and headings, one terracotta accent, and photography-first listing cards. Filters cover price, bedrooms, area, type and features, with every state synced to the URL so any search is shareable.
Listing pages carry full descriptions written like editorial copy, image galleries, key details and a viewing-request flow with a proper success state. An About page tells the company story and a For Sale section extends the platform beyond rentals.
Key Features
Filter state runs through a Zustand store with URL parameter sync — back button, refresh and shared links all behave exactly as expected, which is rarer than it should be on property sites.
Twenty London listings with real photography, neighbourhood data and honest copy give the platform genuine weight; grid/list toggles, save-to-favourites and an on-brand 404 finish the product feel.
