The Barre Class
A full subscription video platform for studio-quality barre training at home.
The Challenge
The Barre Class wanted to take studio-quality training beyond the studio: a video subscription members could install like an app, with billing that just works and an admin area the instructors could run themselves. That's a product build, not a website build.
The Solution
We shipped the full stack: Supabase handles auth and row-level data security, Stripe runs subscriptions end-to-end with webhook-driven account states, and video streams adaptively through Bunny's CDN with HLS — smooth playback on a phone on the bus or a TV in the living room.
Members get a clean class library, account management and progress tracking; instructors get upload, publishing and member-management dashboards with charts that make the business legible at a glance.
Key Features
Installable as a PWA on iOS and Android, with Sentry watching errors in production and a Playwright end-to-end suite guarding every release — the operational maturity of a much larger product.
Email confirmations, password resets and billing notifications all flow through transactional email, so the member experience holds up at the edges where most subscription products fray.
